Module One Test - Entering The Test Centre

Entering the Module One test area correctly is important to get started off on the right foot.

You are advised to act as if the Module 1 motorcycle test has begun as soon as you arrive at the test centre.

This is because as soon as you meet the examiner assessments are being made.

You should act as if you are on a public road, ensuring that you are aware of your surroundings and rear observations are carried out.

Listen Carefully To The Examiner

You should listen carefully to the examiners instructions and always seek clarification if needed.

You will be invited to enter the Module One test area, this is known as the Motorcycle Manoeuvring Area or MMA and to park just inside the gates.

Once ready, take your time, do not rush and take the opportunity to relax and think about the task in hand before you pull away.

How To Enter The Test Centre

Sit on bike and stow the stand
Start the bike and select 1st gear
Carry out rear observations
When safe ride into the test centre
Ride in between the gates
Once stopped, select neutral
Examiner closes the gates
Await further instructions
