Your motorcycle safety checks are important for your road safety. You need to get to know your motorcycle so that faults can be spotted early before developing into more serious problems. Before starting the Module Two motorcycle test, the examiner will ask a series of ‘show me or tell me’ motorcycle safety questions. These specific questions are available on the DVSA website and should be covered in detail during Module Two motorcycle training with professional training schools.
There are a number of questions that the examiner can ask you. You may be asked how you would check the engine oil level or the brake fluid reservoir, there are checks to the tyres and the drive chain that you may be asked about too. You may be asked how to check the lights, horn and the emergency kill switch. It is important that you have practiced the test questions and answers as part of your module two motorcycle training. You could also be asked how to operate the brakes and show how to check the brake lights.
