  • Good forward vision is key

Use the mnemonic TUG to develop early forward vision, see the hazard early and create a methodical approach to make the changes necessary to be a better rider. Most riders do not look far enough at the clues that lie in wait ahead. If you spot the tell tale signs early enough, you can make huge changes to how you approach and cope with the hazards ahead.

    • Remain flexible, as hazards will constantly change
    • Always stay within 80% of your ability to ensure there is always enough skill in reserve to deal with the unexpected
    • New advanced riding skills require practice and time to develop
