Hours of Training
You never stop building your awareness and planning skills, as a rider you are always learning and gaining new skills. By taking professional Module Two motorcycle training you will build more knowledge and confidence that will prepare you for your motorcycle test. As a new rider you may not look far enough ahead but instead spend a lot of time concentrating on what you are doing on the motorcycle. The familiarity of riding will shift your attention from the bike to your surroundings as you build confidence. During the motorcycle test, most situations you find yourself in are a direct result of your vision, awareness and planning. The examiner will be assessing these to ensure you are looking far enough ahead, while still being aware of what is happening behind you.
You must use all round observations to be aware of your surroundings, the road ahead, potential hazards and other road users. This developed awareness continues throughout your riding career and allows you to plan safely to deal with whatever you are riding towards. Through ongoing training your judgment and anticipation will get better over time which ultimately means you become a better and safer rider.
Motorcycle Riders Hub is an online eLearning training and guidance platform for all riders. It helps riders at different stages in their training to understand how to improve, operate and control their motorcycle.
