Hours of Training
Difficulty Level
With sufficient practice during your motorcycle training and an adequate number of Module Two training lessons, you should already know what to expect on test day. The DVSA have allocated 57 minutes to complete the Module Two test. This is not the riding time but the amount of time given for the whole test to be completed. Depending on the test route used by the examiner, you can expect to be riding for approximately 30-40 minutes. Test routes are designed to cover a broad range of road and traffic conditions with varying speed limits, a variety of exercises and an independent ride.
When it is time, the examiner will call you forward and check your documents. You will sign a declaration while you are asked a few questions. Once the paperwork is complete and you have been given a radio and earpiece to wear, the examiner will start their briefing. The Module Two motorcycle test briefing is short and to the point, this is so that you are not confused by anything that is said.
