Know where you are going to land

Overtaking single vehicles is very common, especially when travelling on quiet rural roads. It is imperative that the riders have excellent forward vision and planning to ascertain if it is clear to overtake and they can identify the safe return space. A pilot knows where they are going to land before they even take off. Make sure you have the right plan in place for the manoeuvre you are going to do. If in doubt, bottle out.
