Difficulty Level
Before completing a CBT, you should be able to ride a two wheeled pushbike. This will ensure that you have sufficient balance and skill to ride a motorcycle or moped. If you cannot ride a pushbike (or have not ridden one for some time) you may have difficulty riding a motorcycle. You should refresh your skills on an ordinary bicycle prior to attending your motorcycle training.
You must have a driving licence (full or provisional licence) and wear your glasses/contact lenses if needed. This is because training schools are required by law to check your licence and eyesight prior to the start of your training. Failing to comply with this could result in a cancelled CBT and loss of your training fee.
You will need to absorb lots of new information during a CBT course and for this reason pre-CBT study is highly recommended. It will result in a more enjoyable and beneficial training experience. You can remove any stress by taking some time to study before you attend your CBT course. Pre learning can be done by reading or by using an online training platform and videos to give you a head start.
