If you can handle a full day’s ride and seek to deepen your skills, you’re perfect for this adventure. You must be happy to ride at least 250 miles per day in the UK, because the roads are quieter in Europe it is easier to get the miles in.
Just bring your gear and a spirit for adventure. Everything from the return ferry crossing to luxury accommodations and expert instruction are included. You will need fuel and food money for the duration of the trip, but en-route at pre-booked hotels breakfast is taken care of.
With comprehensive support and contingency plans, we ensure your experience is smooth and enjoyable. As long as your bike is in tip top condition before we leave, the tour is plain sailing.
This is not an expensive tour when you consider what you get, most tour companies do not offer training and guidance with an all inclusive feel. At the time of writing this tour is around £2499.00, a deposit is required at the time of booking and payments can be made regularly to budget for the tour.
We have tried this tour throughout the year but the best time we have found is late May into early June. The weather is perfect and the lighter nights give this tour the extra appeal.
This is a great question, we typically only take 9 riders on this tour with three instructors. This way we can give dedicated coaching to everyone during the trip. Small numbers means we can dedicate time with you individually whilst we are riding.
The temperatures range from the high teens to the late 20’s. On occasions we have seen the temperatures reach 30 degrees. On these days we start early and have an afternoon around the pool with a cold beer.
Whatever you ride is the best answer, but riders on smaller powered motorcycles without fairing really struggle on the longer rides. Something comfortable and big enough to crunch in the miles with good wind protection at higher speeds is perfect.
